The Tyler P. Fick Foundation - Supporting: Cystic Fibrosis, Maryvale Preparatory School, Special Needs Children and Others

On May 26, 2003, after a life long battle with Cystic Fibrosis, Tyler Page Suzanne Fick passed away at the age of 22. During her life, Tyler displayed a boundless will to live and an innate ability to positively affect those around her. Tyler had a particular love for her high school and dreamed of the day when she could return as an English teacher.

The Tyler P. Fick Foundation was created to ensure that her spirit will live on through the support of charitable initiatives that were dear to her heart; in particular they were Maryvale Preparatory School, Cystic Fibrosis, and special needs children to name a few.

Always keeping Tyler in mind, The Tyler P. Fick Foundation will place a significant emphasis on being a youth-driven organization that maintains consistency in its fundraising efforts. To that end, the Foundation will hold fun fundraisings events that Tyler would have enjoyed. Our hope is that in a few short years, many people will be able to say, "We don’t know who Tyler was, but she has helped to make a positive difference in our lives”. It is the hope of the Foundation that the younger generation of Tyler’s friends and family will carry her legacy on for years to come.
